Code V Zernike import: - new Code V list order
Now Zernike surface types can be imported through Code V file format. With this new List Order is added (Sorting N then -M) that corresponds to Zernike Code V file format.

STEADY X new working for XYZ spiral pattern
STEADY X tool path is now supported for XYZ spiral Pattern for diamond tool turning. For Raster CXZ and Spiral XYZ toolpaths, all associated settings, rake calcs, measurement corrections, graphics etc have been altered accordingly


Precitech FTS XYZ header file format
It is modified to export the file with tool compensated values for diamond tool. Earlier version was always exported with no tool.

RAKE angle increased from –45 to –70 degrees
Note, with CONICAL tools, this angle is limited by the front clearance angle. If the front angle is greater than 20 degrees, then the minimum rake becomes less than 70. - With Cylindrical tools there is no such limitation

CHEBYSHEV equation: compatible with ZEMAX optical design program
The sag equation in DIFFSYS, z = fn(x,y) is similar to the one in the ZEMAX optical design program. It consists of a sum of Chebyshev terms added to a standard asphere equation.


C-Axis spiral diameter is now editable
Previously, the overall C-Axis diameter was fixed, depending on the surface shape. It can now be set to any value. This has several uses, for example when a surface is tilted. Similarily, for Mask Offsets and inner diameter: Previously, when Mask Offsets were used, the inner diameter was set automatically, depending on the mask offset values. It can now be edited to any size


Import Code V ‘SEQ’ files
Diffsys can now import a limited number of surface types from Code V ‘SEQ’ files.

Point cloud generation using Contour Spacing method.
Now Point cloud can be generated using Contour spacing method where internally it creates Parametric curves in X and Y directions with the given spacing values. Then it considers only intersected points as the surface defined point cloud. This approach will be more useful for point cloud generation of freeform surfaces

Import Zygo corrections (.INT) file.
Zygo(.int) files can be imported as part of measurement corrections file that has the values in form of Zernike terms. This file is imported by chosing “Import Zygo file....” from the Options drop-down menu.

Import of additional Zemax surface type: Importing FZERNSAG, BICONIC, BICONICZ zemax surface type.


Import and Export of Minifile


User Defined Boundary Shape: Is fully released and is part of the DIFFSYS MC3 module.
Now user can create custom outer boundary shape for the surface. User can also load point cloud that defines the custom outer boundary shape.
